Hello!

My name is Helen Parrott and I have the pleasure to be Chair of Governors at Droxford Junior School. I have been on the Governing Body for almost five years now and am in my second year as Chair. My background is in education and I was Head of Juniors at a local independent school for eight years.  My hobbies include travel and going to the theatre.  My husband and I are currently renovating a dilapidated cottage on the Isle of Wight and are also very excitedly waiting for the arrival of our first grandchild.  I look forward to seeing many of you around school when I visit for events, please do come and say hello if you see me!

My name is Matthew Rees and I've been a Governor at Droxford since January 2024. I'm a Systems Engineer in the aerospace sector and am passionate about STEM. Both of my children attended Droxford Junior School and I am very much enjoying being a Governor - giving back to the community and, in a small way, helping support the school in growing and developing children through to the next steps in their lives.
