    The fabulous author, Lucy Strange, enthralled and engaged our children recently with spooky stories and tales of her writing career.  The children bought her books and she kindly signed them.

    The Roving Bookshop were in all day for children to buy books.

  • Year 5 / 6 walk 14km to Old Winchester Hill and back!

    As part of their Geography learning - Years 5 / 6 walked 14km, in one day, from school up to the Iron Age Hillfort at Old Winchester Hill and back again via the disused railway line.  

    A huge achievement, filled with lots of Geographical learning linked to nature in the South Downs National Park.

    Well done to our staff who organised this complex trip and everyone who made it safe and enjoyable!

  • Dig Day - Saturday 7th October

    DIG DAY - Saturday October 7th - Help needed gardening, school grounds clearing, allotment help or painting.  Join us anytime between 9-3 - lunch provided and of course, children welcome.  Please contact school office to let us know if you intend to be here and we can also organise lunch (Pizza) for you all.

  • Year 5 / 6 Art trip to Roche Court sculpture park.

    Two days of glorious weather at the inspirational sculpture park in Wiltshire.  The children learnt about the inspirational private collection in idyllic grounds of the owners house.  The education team taught the children all about sculpture in the outdoors which links perfectly to the Year 5 / 6 art curriculum.

    As part of their STEM car research, the Year 5 team were privy to a client reveal of the new (at the time - top secret) Roll Royce Spectre.  Rolls' first battery powered car.  Such a privilege.

  • Droxford Junior School at the Ageas Bowl!

    Our cricket team continued their incredible season by winning through to the county finals at the famous Ageas Bowl.  They qualified though their difficult group, won the quarter final (by 1 run) and then narrowly missed playing in the final after losing their semi final by 4 runs!  So proud of them all.
